Side-Slit Trousers

My ankles were feeling a bit frisky

I’d been on the lookout for side-slit trousers for a while, and found these last season on FrontRowShop. There’s something about the side-slit that makes a flared trouser a lot easier to wear. These ones are cute, but they’re also a size L and were tight as hell on me (a bodacious US 4), so maybe not the most accurate fit.

Ridiculous sizing aside, these can be a placeholder until I figure out a way to get my booty in the A.W.A.K.E. FF17 collection – those side-slit trousers are on some other level!!

PS: Couldn’t find exact outfit details – the side-slit trouser isn’t easy to find! These are just really great trousers and here are some black front slit trousers. But three really great green-ish coats similar to the one I’m wearing are here, here and here

More importantly – I’m wearing another music related top, this time repping WEDIDIT, a label all the way from hometown Los Angeles.

Clearly music is a huge influence in what I wear, whether it’s the actual lyrics (like this cute post) or just the whole hustle that appeals to me (like this SBE top).

Other people’s clothes also play a huge role in my outfit rotation, seeing as the hoodie is my boyfriend’s and my coat, from Galeries Lafayette, is my godmother’s. I’m all about that sentimental upcycle ;)
