Never overlook a well fitted pair of cargos.
This look is so similar to last week’s look, but I just can’t help it if I’m in love with an all-white outfit! Like, when you know, you know. Anyway, I bought these cargos online here (and you can also get them in black and khaki) and, seeing as I usually have to get everything tailored, I wasn’t sure if they’d fit well. But! The waist is perfectly snug, everything hugs in all the right places and the straight leg is so good! I’m probably going to hem them to keep them from looking too sloppy, but oh my god are these trousers sent from Aaliyah-heaven!
I’m off to Paris in two weeks and I feel like once these get a nice lil hem, they’ll be so easy to dress up and be perfect for Paris. I actually can’t wait – some nice boots, a tight-fitted turtleneck and possibly a blazer?? My leather trench?? Literally what could be more Parisian than that hehe…tbh whenever I think of Parisian dressing I think of @101chichi and the 15 yr olds skating at Palais de Tokyo instead of berets and baguettes. Paris as a city has been such a stagnant monument, but it really feels like now’s the time – there’s been such an outpouring of new artists, musicians, designers that it has a new energy that I’ve not felt there for years! I can’t wait to go back :~)
But, back to the post at hand. I think the trick to keeping these cargos looking streamlined is def to get them tailored, and to keep the rest of the look very classic. I have a feeling I’ll be sharing this on the blog for quite some time…
